The Challenge
Fering set out to revolutionise overland exploration and military mobility with a truly unique concept vehicle. Their “Beehive” platform offered a 7,000km range, a fully hybrid drivetrain, and immense onboard power generation capabilities — making it modular enough to support a vast array of payloads, from remote observation units to powering field hospitals.
However, with budgets heavily invested in R&D and no practical way to demonstrate prototypes across deserts, jungles or ice caps, Fering faced a critical challenge: how to convince stakeholders of the platform’s potential without the astronomical cost of global field testing.

The Solution
Motion produced a full CGI launch film that brought the Beehive’s extraordinary capabilities to life. Using CAD data and cinematic environments, we placed the vehicle in extreme terrains worldwide — snow, jungle, desert — demonstrating its range, durability and adaptability.
Every USP was highlighted:
• Hybrid powertrain
• Rapid modular transformation
• Payload versatility
• Long-duration, fuel-independent missions
Where possible, CGI was enhanced with photoreal techniques to create a seamless, credible narrative.
The Impact
The launch film gave Fering a high-impact marketing and fundraising tool that reached stakeholders globally without costly physical deployment. It turned an ambitious prototype into a credible, investable vision, positioning the Beehive as a platform capable of reshaping overland exploration.
